SEO for Recruitment Websites

Search Engine Optimisation (or SEO for short) should be part of a holistic digital marketing strategy for most recruiters.

What we do

FXRecruiter Digital Recruitment Platform uses best practice to automate the SEO of your pages.  This includes:

  • Clean, compliant and fast code
  • Mobile friendly – responsive websites
  • Optimised Title tags
  • Optimised URLs containing job details and other keywords of your choice
  • Google-friendly XML sitemap to ensure all pages get indexed
  • Automatic creation of meta descriptions

BUT….there’s always more that can be done.  Google is very clever and works out what your web pages are about, creating an ‘index’ – a lookup of keywords to relevant websites.  Clearly, the sites that are most relevant will rank best. Other factors also come into play, such as domain authority and quality of inbound links, but that is a bigger discussion.

What can you do to improve your SEO?

One of the most important things you can do is to ensure you have lots of well-written, keyword-optimised job vacancies and pages on your website.  Pages can include blog posts, articles and content about your services and areas of expertise.

What else can we do to help?

SEO has evolved to become a specialist service in its own right, with skills that need to be kept up to date, and specific tools that come with associated costs and training needs.

We started our journey in the recruitment sector as SEO consultants, but as we have focused on development of our FXRecruiter platform to automate the basics, we took a view that partnering with a leading SEO agency would be better for us, and for our customers.
